The first test shoot with the RED EPIC was done last week at the CHIKO Queensland Championship Circuit event on the Sunshine Coast. This Day 2 highlights clip has a few shots in the edit. Shot @ 2K with a frame rate of 225fps, a pre grade in REDCINE-X before being exported to Pro Res 422 and edited in FCP 6. Final compression was pretty low @ 1024 x 576 to save time on the upload but still shows some good results and a good example of the quality of this new equipment. Pretty happy with the initial result. Looking forward to more testing and will post the results here on www.onepalmMEDIA.com so stay tuned and thanks for watching. TC

Shot on location by onepalmmedia.com in Fiji, Hawaii, Australia, Philippines, Indonesia and Puerto Rico, this video is collection of water shots from 2010 – 2012.

I have been shooting from the water for 2 years now and have not only learnt a lot but really enjoyed the experience. I still have much to learn. The ocean is a beautiful place and is a very humbling environment. I look forward to the challenge of capturing better images in the future.

Shot with Panasonic HVX 200 P2 @ 60fps & Sony HVR FX1000 @ 100fps and slowed down to 200fps in post production. No wide angle adaptors have been used. Custom water housings by Dave Kelly of davekellyseaviewphototech.blogspot.com.au/

ONE TOUCH, a story based around the lives of Wes Berg, Zeb Walsh and Dean Brady, all connected by the ocean. A tale of setting goals in life and taking on challenges that, although huge, are achievable when you set your mind to them and train hard.

An ironman/trainer (Berg), a surfer/ocean paddler (Walsh) and a professional surfer (Brady) with an appetite for big waves, come together and set their sights on the mother of all challenges, the MOLKOKAI2OAHU paddle board race. The crossing of the infamous Molokai channel, a stretch of water that claimed legendary Hawaiian waterman Eddie Aikau, is also considered to be the Wold Championship of paddle boarding, a race that is 32 miles or 51 kilometres in length. “A bloody long way on a paddle board.” say Zane Holmes, 5 times Kellogg’s Ironman Champion.

The featured length documentary, running time 101 minutes, is released soon. Go the the facebook page @facebook.com/onetouchthefilm for more info.
